The Seibun Magnetic Fundamentals Learning Kit has all the needed parts (except water and a writing device) needed for students to explore and learn about magnets. The kit is simple to use and covers a number of basic concepts about magnets, magnetic compasses and magnetic attraction and repulsion. The kit may be used by a single student or a group of students working together to experiment and learn about magnets and their properties.

The kit may be used over and over by several sets of students. The only additional material needed is water. Some optional activities encourage students to test materials found around them in classrooms or at home.
