Using the Seibun Magnetic Fundamentals Learning Kit, a student will learn the basics of magnetism. An understanding of what materials are attracted to magnetic fields will be learned. Additionally, students will learn how magnet poles attract and repel each other. Students will use and make a magnetic compass and obtain an understanding of magnetic field lines. Students will have a chance to learn how magnets may levitate above each other and explore how magnetic fields pass through different substances.
