Dear Seibun International:

Thank you for the Mind Development kits in my classroom. The science instruction that the students received through the hands-on experience of
making electric cars was invaluable. Not only were they motivated by the
novelty of the products, they were 100% successful in building their cars.
Furthermore, every student in my class mastered the written exam that
covered the objectives of the lessons taught through building the cars.

As you know, teachers in California are held accountable for making sure
that students are proficient in the state content standards. The lessons that
were covered through the electric cars not only met the science standards
for fourth grade, but were easily incorporated into reading, writing and math
standards as well. It is critical for the classroom teacher to be able to
integrate the content standards across the curriculum in order to promote
student success.

The electric cars provided students with the opportunity to learn through
all of the learning modalities. Because of this, even students with learning
disabilities were able to grasp the difficult scientific concepts of electricity.
The lessons were also designed in such a way that I was able to easily  differentiate the curriculum for high achieving students. Your products help
the teacher to address the individual needs of students as well as promote teamwork within the classroom.

Again, thank you for providing my students with such a wonderful learning
opportunity. I plan to teach an electricity unit again this year, and I hope
that I will be able to use the electric cars again.

Sincerely,

Valerie Reeves
