From one Teacher to Another. Science Adventures has been offering science enrichment programs in elementary education for fifteen years. We are committed to providing hands-on activities that not only provide a springboard for inquiry-based learning, but also excite the students' imaginations. As Director of Development I am continually looking for high quality products that meet our exacting standards. Seibun Educational was an exciting discovery. Our two organizations have been doing business for the last 12 months. Their product line is unique and innovative. In the world of elementary science education I am used to seeing endless variations on a theme. It is a breath of fresh air to find a company that has a different approach to providing hands-on, minds-on products. Seibun has created inquiry-based science kits that enrich and motivate students. Every product that I have tested has been high quality and well designed. Their science kits provide high tech solutions to most of the conceptual goals outlined by the national science framework. They exceed all of the educational goals while remaining fun and interesting, able to capture the attention and interest of even the most jaded student. The projects are simple enough so as to provide everyone the success of achievement, yet they have enough options to stretch the mind of even the most gifted. Science Adventures has been so impressed with these well thought out materials that we immediately designed one of our programs completely around one of their products, the Radical Racer, an electric powered race car. After eight months, the jury is in from the students, their parents, and our teachers. The Radical Racers are fun, exciting, easy to teach, provide strong conceptual content and are a great value. Such was the success with our customers and teachers, we went on to use the Radical Racer and a sister product, the Space Explorer, as the cornerstones of two of our summer programs. These products provide the centerpiece to these programs and will excite, inspire, and teach approximately 16,000 students nationwide. From teaching high school physics to Director of Development, I have been involved in science education for 10 years. I was attracted to Seibun because of the new approach their kits take, making science fun while providing assessable inquiry-based learning. I will continue to deal with Seibun not only because of their products' quality but also the for extremely high level of service they have provided to us as customers.
