SEIBUN INTRODUCES NEW MODELING CLAY TO MOLD IMAGINATION
San Diego, Calif (March 13, 2000) – SEIBUN Educational introduces a new modeling clay to the United States: Wood Clay. Besides being smoother and easier to work with than most other clay, SEIBUN EDUCATIONAL’S Wood Clay has several unique properties: it never dries out (a great money-saving feature), has no bad odor, doesn’t discolor and floats on water.

“By mixing Japanese Cypress pulp and natural oils to produce our Wood Clay, we’ve created a material that stay malleable for a much longer time than any clay-type product on the market today,” says F.R. d’Ours, director of SEIBUN’s San Diego office. According to Dr. Wendy Hirsch Weiner of Learning Your Way, Inc., an educational advocacy service, the neutral color of Wood Clay can increase the power of a child’s imagination because “playing with clays in a wide array of colors can actually limit your child’s creativity to those specific colors.” “The fact that Wood Clay floats adds a whole new dimension to what kids can do with it, too,” mentions d’Ours.

Wood Clay is a 100% natural product that is both non-toxic and anti-bacterial. Each package contains a generous 22 cubic inches of material and weighs 12 ounces (suggested retail: $5.99-9.99).

Leading Japanese Manufacturer Enters U.S. Market with Magnetic Paper for School, Office & Home Use

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (Aug. 18, 1999) – One of Japan’s leading manufacturers of “edu-tainment” products is entering the United States market with an “attractive” and unique inkjet paper: “Print-OnMagnet Paper features high-density paper stock backed with a thin, high-tech, flexible magnetic coating that allows the paper to securely adhere to nearly any metal surface.

Magnetic paper has limitless applications at schools, homes and offices, according to the manufacturer’s U.S. distributor. “With Print-On Magnet Paper, today’s kids can take their computer artwork straight from the printer to the refrigerator door,” says F.R. d’Ours, director of SEIBUN Educational’s San Diego office. “Teachers can now create their own magnetic flash cards, families can send out magnetic greeting cards during the holidays, and office managers can post magnetic memos. Boring filing cabinet labels are a thing of the past – Print-On Magnet Paper adds color instantly!”

Anything that can be printed on an inkjet printer can be printed on Print-On Magnet Paper. The 8-1/4” x 11-3/4” paper is easy to cut and can be used in numerous ways: refrigerator stickers, promotional signage, business cards, photographs, logos, sporting event schedules, office announcements, trade show displays, etc. d’Ours stresses that the magnetic paper can only be used in inkjet printers, not in laser printers or copiers.

Print-On Magnet Paper is sold in sample packages containing three sheets of paper ($13.95 suggested retail) and a variety of bulk quantities. Print-On Magnet Paper can be ordered by contacting SEIBUN Educational’s U.S. office at (888) 684-7873 or going on-line at www.seibunUSA.com.
